KW 35261004 Cavalier/Sunfire Coilover Variant 3 KW 10261004 Cavalier/Sunfire Coilover Variant 1 Theirs something new for the j community. I wounder how well they work. The variant 3's have external resavwars. Witch to my knowledge is a real good thing and only found in higher up suspensions.

Just by looks alone I should say their most likely crap. Could be great, I don't know.
Hot colors are usually not a good sign. External resevoirs are usefull for extreme travel (like large trucks) not Js.
Just my $0.02.

Colars are weird i will admit but the colors are not all over the place their yellow springs with a crome or purple cartrage. could be the companys odd ass colors. from the looks on the site they have been out for a while in europe. That is where i think kw was designed from their main vehicles. I don't know much els but if they were good that would give the jbody owners more choices. Since it is sold by gravana lets see if they know anything on this product.

Im with Bagged Cav on this one. I love when new QUALITY products come out on the market for J's and I incourage all J body owners to save and buy quailtiy products that way more of these will be made but I dont see anything that these have the the SS's don't. Actually I see the SS's haveing more for them then the KW's do. Does anyone have these or know about them?

Quote:

Kw
3 individually adjustable components, allows for adjustment of the compression of the damper in the low-speed range, while the highspeed set-up, so decisive for driving comfort.

This is the main thing that caught my eye Which no cavalier suspension to my knowledge has that adjustabilitie. Their variante 2s are the same As tein ss but they don't have a variante 2's for the cavy. The variante 1 are the same as the tein basics.

KW is pretty highly regarded in the Scion and other import communities. I'd roll them if I had the need or money to put out.

Do they come with mounts?

Re: new coilovers?

probably not

but listed on their site they dont have v2's which is odd.

for those who dont know

V1=Tein Basics
V2=Koni/Ground Control, Gravana, Tein SS
V3=Tein SS on steriods

But I thought the SS was rebound and compresstion adjustable with each click?
Same with Tockido and Gravana perhaps.

KW is specifically stating rebound only.

At the moment, the pillow ball mount front and rear still make the Tein SS very attractive.

The kw's are more adjustable the tein ss's are able to adjust stiffness soft or hard. Kw's V3 are tein ss on steoids becuase you are able to adjust everything independtly.but tein has the best bang for your buck the kw V1 and V3 are more for hardcore drivers that have to be able to control almost everthing the shock does.

I really don't get the external reservoir.......

A J won't ever see suspnsion travel fast or far enough to warrant it. The picture is probably just a "stock" "file" photo.
