What is needed to install the addco front bar on a 01 cavalier with the FE-0 suspension? I currently have a FE-1 bar sitting here in my basement that I was gonna put on but I want to make the car more solid in the turns. How do I install it also. Does anyone have a picture description?

1.1 hours is the warranty time, 1.3 is customer pay time (AllData)
on another note can I use the d clamps that came with the FE-1 that I bought?

you should be able to...as long as they came off a 3rd gen I dont see why not.
and if your somewhat handy with tools and you can install a header on ur ohv then I think you can manage the front sway install. Just take ur time 2-3 hours max.......oh and since you have a FE0 you might have to tap the threads where the bolt holds the clamp inplace. Mine had some rust build up.
yea I might look into doing it. I'll have to see. I know that I'll do the rear bar when I get it.

Despite the picture thread you DO NOT need to unbolt the steering.
When I did mine I just dropped the subframe brace down.
The first time you do one it will take a few hours, but afterwards you could do em all day at an hour a piece or less.

Ok cool sounds easy. the one place I went to yesterday quoted me $110 to install it.

like Iamrascal stated, the steering does not need to be disconnected, and i had to tap the drivers side bolt hole for the d-clamp as it was rusted pretty bad, and it was a royal pain to do aswell. The passenger side has a bolt/stud in there to hold a power steering line so it didn't need to be tapped
Those who say you don't need to unbolt the steering knuckle, you're giving bad advice. If that thing pulls off the steering column from inside the car, you're going to have a real whore of a time getting it back on.
Do yourself the favour and unbolt it.

I did my install in about 2 hours. I asked alot of questions before I began. Run a tap down both holes. Undo the 6 bolts from the subframe(4 at the rear and 2 in the wheel well) and if you can disconnect the exhaust from the manifold and cat it will allow more room to lower the subframe. Also loosening the bolts from the steering rack (do not remove) makes things easier. Good lighting also makes seeing things better. GOOD LUCK
