today i am replacing my driver side cv axle and when removing it i ran in to a problem.
there is a ring that is stoping me from removing it.
it needs to be done today so any help would be great. thx

Are you referring to the snap ring on the axle that locks it inside the tranny? I've taken out two axles on a different car and had to put a long pry bar between the tranny and inner cv and whacked the crap out of the end of the pry bar with a hammer. Took me a while but the SOB finally came out.
