it says to turn the knob all the way to the right to setting 9 for break in but it dosn't say how long you have to leave it at that setting to break in. i searched the faq and only found somthing on some differnt struts that didn't need to be broken in.
just go up and down a few times to bleed out the lines. Thats considered brake in I think. If you feel more comfortable, drive it around for about 100 or so miles then adjust to your comfort needs.
I think it says 3 is the "stock" ride feel.

I drove mine around for about 200 miles and then checked to make sure everything was still tight. Then I turned the nob to the left about 4 turns. Rides and works GREAT!!
