im not sure where to put this because i dont know where it should go because im not sure if its a suspension or trans problem.
the car makes a thump thump sound while im driving it. it does it while im coming to a stop. and when im accelerating it will get really loud at about 45 mph. It does it under load then when i push in the clutch it get quieter but it is still there.
so who knows what it is. i think its cv or wheel bearing or trans(hopefully not the last one)
it sounds like driver side front
I went through the same crap, I ended up replacing the wheel bearing and solved the issue. Since, I've had to do 2 more, one more on the dr. side, and one on the pass. I went cheap with the first replacement, the second time I put delco parts in and haven't had a problem since. Best suggestion, jack up the dr. side and shake the wheel, if it wobbles a lot, it could be tie rods or ball joints, but in my case it was the wheel bearing. Good Luck!

4 Cams...32 Valves...5 Liters...This Could Get Fun!
I replaced all 4 of mine with Delco parts....
The passenger side front would pop, but I guess, it fixed itself because after about 400Miles of Clunking from going into reverse, or turning sharp from a stop, it stopped popping. IDK. I guess the bearing wasn't seated properly in the housing when the made it. Must be now, because I haven't heard a noise from it since.
...
its at the dealership now i thought wheel bearing but im not sure i ripped it apart and couldnt find anything.
