i read thru the faq but it didnt answer my question but you know how the sunfires have this black plastic thing on top of the strut, well is there a way to just not have that? i mine are broken and the bearings fell out but since suspension is interchangeable can you just get struts for an 03 and up and not put that bearing thing?

i assume you mean strut mounts? if so then no you can not do that for the 00+. yes the suspension componets are interchangable but the 00+ js use a newer strut mount then the 95-99s. the 00+ mounts are a 1 piece mount and the 95-99 are a 3 piece mount. if you need to replace the bearing you can buy them from an auto store and replace it. if the whole mount is bad then yes you can use the 03 one if you like. its just if the bearings go in the 03 mount you have to spend around 50 bucks for a new mount where as if you have the 95-99 you would only have to spend like 10 on the bearing.
