i am having a hard time deciding
and who has the best prices
what are the bes kits
ive been lookin into tein ss with edfc
and easy street
i dont race , i have alot of pot holes here in phila , i love the extreme low look and want to
stay low as possible , and i want a good ride i know eiteh way im goaa get alot of bumps
george
that's a tough call man, but I will never mod a car again without being able to hit switches!!
plus, bags are really pretty durable, as long as you dont get too crazy!
Bags. You can raise up for them pot holes, then go right back down for the look you want.

Weather is looking good here this weekend.
Looks like I'll get some more of my Air Bag install done.

I know it's taking a while to get it on, but I'm also redoing a lot of things in the interior & trunk.

JASON's "AIR RIDE MAFIA" (airbagsource.com)
will bags offer me a good quality ride compared to
tein ss
because as of now ive got some pos sleeve coilovers
and the ride is extremely harsh
i think i have blown struts and 2 bad axels up front
george
Its can be rough, just depends on where you ride at.
Typically when riding at 50PSI all 4 corners I have a good ride. Rides like stock.
But if I have to raise up to 100 to get into my driveway, I have to go slow because its real harsh. But the bags aren't compressing like they would at 50psi. The struts are adjustable too, so you can make them ride stiff, or soft like a Tein SS. Air Ride is more of a show thing that takes up trunk space. So if your worried about trunk space, you may want to just go with the coil overs.
...
I'd go with bags. The adjustability of air bags, is great. You can raise your vehicle up to go over speed bumps, then slam it back down.
is jason from a plus the best place for good prices
or do you have other quality sources
the reason i say quality is because i want some one
who will back the product in case of problems
george
jason is a great guy to deal with and thats where i get all my air ride stuff from (well did)
i wish i would of known you were looking for air ride. i just sold my whole kit with a ton of extra goodies for 1000. i would of installed it for you too.
well i would have loved to buy it off you but
i am using a credit card for the purchase
if i do decide on getting air ride i would be willing to offer you a job
for the install.
george
yea diffenitly just let me know. install is cake. let me know if you need help
Wouldn't put Jason in my Signature if I didn't think he was the best place to go to!

how is the longevity of an air ride system
i mean this is my daily driver that i roughly put 20 miles a day on
i know its not that much but i do have a 2 year old ddaughter
so i want something safe and reliable
if bags tend to go bad or leak or ect then i might do the coilovers
i have never experienced bags and when you hear comments
usually it people complaining about something
i would like to hear the better side of thing
george
if your worried about maintance then go with coilovers like the tein ss. with bags you can break a fitting, rub a hole in an air line, have leaks, etc... its just something you have to deal with. when i had mine i only replaced 2 fittings and 1 air line and that wasnt bad at all. just dont expect to throw a kit on and forget about it. i had it on my dd and it rode great. you can adjust the psi in each bag and it has adjustable damping
i m not worried about maintaining a system i just
dont want something that i am going to have to fix
every couple months
i work 6 days a week , i have off only on sundays
and every other sunday i have my daughter by myself
so that leaves me with 2 real days a month for any mishaps
george
Well, I have had my kit for 3 years now (easystreet kit), and haven't had any big problems. I had one air line to the back of the gauge that didn't wanna seal off right away, but I replaced the fitting on the gauge, and nothing since then. If you do the install correctly, you should be good, but stuf can happen for sure.
^^ right
i never had any problems with my easystreet kit but you just have to be aware that things can happen
i realize things can and probably will happen
but like i said i just dont want somethng im going to
install then lets say 1 month down the road have to replace something
than 2 more months fix this and then that
i want something reliable
i have been reading alot on the tein ss as well and it seems
alot of people are having rust issues
george
but thats the thing, no one can say when you will have a problem. i cant say this fitting will last x amount of months. i highly doubt anything will happen in the first month.
it might be a wise investment to keep a beater handy then. take the money you'd put in bags, and buy a cheapo car just as a back up.
(provided you wanted bags).
But the install is cake, the ride is ok.
...
After installing the digital air setup on my car recently, I would def. NOT suggest anything other then getting an easystreet kit from Jason!!
It rides great! (a lot of adjust ability with being able to damper each corner and ride at different pressures to get that precise comfort when you want it) It is a fairly straight forward install, and can't go wrong with being able to adjust ride height at the push of a button instead of getting out and adjusting each corner with a wrench.
Dude I used to have the Easystreet kit and I was a daily driver, DO NOT DO IT, the kit didn't last me more than a year before it started to fall apart, i blew 2 bags leaking fittings, fittings comming off easy, bolts comming loose all the time, need alighnment ever week, noisy as hell, rough as hell, very bouncy no matter what psi and what dampening, i took it off and sold it, and now have tein ss, dont know how that is yet because i didnt put it on yet, the ride was so harsh it busted my welds that hold up my mufflers and they were full seam welds, have you ever seen a bobcat drive? well thats how its gonna be, your always bouncing around inside, its great for cars that are trailer queens, just to a show and back to sleep, but for a daily driver your just looking for trouble
your like the only person that ever had that many problems. maybe tighten your bolts and you wouldnt have problems. my car rode great, never need to align it except after the install and only replaced 2 fittings and an air line in 2 years. i sold the kit and it still is great.
StrippedCav98 (Now Quotable), man listen to yourself, if i have to tighten bolts every second day don't you think i tightened them to hell? i ended up using lock tight on all of them, then they were ok, that bolt in the middle of that @!#$ty mount they supply keeps backing off, i had to weld it on then that was ok, come to my city and use your kit, you will see what i mean, it also depends on where you live, the roads here are very bad, i used to ride 25 in the back and 30 in the front, and the dampening all the way to soft and it still was rough like hell, my point is if your the type of person who likes to move forward in life, like go on to bigger and better things then air ride is not for you, but if your the type of person that wants to spend the rest of your life working on your suspension and throwing money at it then its for you, im the type that wants to put it on and forget about it, and move on in life with different mods, because if i just stay in the suspension area i would not have enough money to do the rest of the stuff i want done
