1987 Oldsmobile Firenza, 4 L, 5-door.
I can't find a junked Firenza for parts, so I'm looking for other options to fix a broken car. Looked at other posts, but I can't find info.
Problem: Bent rear axil and BAR.
Question: Can I swap the rear suspension/axil with parts from another J-body?
Thanks,
Jeremy
i dont know a whole lot about the 1st/2nd gen j's but the theory behind the "platform" system that gm uses is to have the same basic car, just different sheet metal and styling. so im gonna go out on a limb here and say yes, you should be able to swap axlels within any generation of j's. (ex.1st to 1st gen, or 2nd to 2nd gen, or 3rd to 3rd gen.)
hope that helps.
Thank you. I'll look into it.

rear end from any j car up to 94 should work pre 92 would be best as itdoesnt have abs like your car and the parking brake cables would be correct
