I'd just buy one. I think I paid $12 for mine. It's just a wedge shape fork with a handle and a spot to hit it with a hammer.

Just be careful not to jam it right through the boot. You can lift the boot up and put the fork under the metal plate sealing the bottom.

^^lolol

Well got the ball joint seperated.. But, i just spent 3 freakin hours trying to drill out those 3 rivets.. Im done with that crap,, Im going to go by me some control arms so I can have a clean arm to install my new ball joints and my new control arm bushings. Those needed installed anyway.

Dude, ball joints on a Cavvy are cake if you have the right stuff. But, it can be a hassle if you don't..

You didn't have to drill the rivets out, you could have just knocked the heads off of them and then it would have came loose.. would have been alot easier.

If you need anything, PM me.. I should have the answer. Installing control arm bushings is probably going to be a task, you could probably take them to a shop with the right tools and have them do it for a small fee.

Huh? Why'd you take off the rivets? Aren't you just swapping knuckles?

Well Weasel Bear sends a full new spindel for the brakes to be able to bolt on, and also he is replacing the ball joints cause that have a lot of miles on them. David always does things while he is there so he doesn't have to go back and fix things later. Makes a lot of sence to me not to do something twice when you don't have to send to much more time doing it while you are there. (BTW X-mas list for David new drill bits)

I can't wait to see these in bro. Also are you doing those A-arm bushing you have layin' around too? I don't remember if you had them out in yet or not... You know me lately about remembering things.

Those things can be stubborn without the right tools.. They make a seperater that attached to an air hammer ya know.. Best 2 tools I've ever bought haha
