I need some opinions on what kind of suspension i should be getting for this combo, I have MIR 1.8" drop springs and am looking into the KYB AGX for the front and GR2 in the back, is this fine or should i go with different setup? Let me know

1) dont mix match struts
2) agxs are used for drops up to 1.5". they will probably work ok for a 1.8" drop but they will not warranty the strut so if it does blow your sol
3) gr2s should only be used on stock setup
4) get tokico dspecs
I'm using AGX's on H&R 1.6 front / 1.4 rear springs and I wouldn't go any lower on them. They are about maxed out to prevent bouncing. I'm sure the spring rate on the 1.8 springs would make for a bouncy ride on AGX's.
alright, never heard much about the dspecs, and i dont want to screw up my shocks, so ill go with whatever will last me longest. Got any details as to how good they are compared to koni?

sorry about the double post, but i notice they have 2 types : the DSK501 for 700, and the DSP1, both adjustable, and come in a set of 4, what kind do you have?

not sure what your looking at but there is only 1 tokico dspec and they are grey in color. tokico also makes the hps which are blue but they are oem replacements
DSK-501 is a complete strut and spring kit with a 1.4" drop front and rear. DSP1 is the struts only. You get the same D-Specs in either case, but you already have springs so the choice is easy.
I may have only had the D-Specs for a few days now, but I'm running them with Eibach Sportline springs and couldn't be happier. They run the gammut from rediculously firm to softer than stock, and perform well all the while.

I have Tein Super Street coilovers, addco 26mm front & rear swaybars, Truax motorsports weld in subframe connectors, modified 99 GA aluminum a-arms with poly bushings, rk sport subframe brace & motor mounts, Vibrant front & rear strut braces and Riax 18x7.5" rims withKumho Ecsta 225x40x18 tires. Next up will be 13" front discs and rear disc conversion.
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
