Man, its been ages since I posted here. How y'all doing anyhow?
Got the airstruts put on the rear of the Cavalier yesterday. (yes, I still own it). Just got a tank, valves and struts. Still need a compressor, have to fill of the big air compressor at work.

Its pretty funny driving with the back end launched all the way up. Rides really rough all the way up or all the way down. Pretty good in the middle.
god damn is that thing 4x4 all the way down.
what's with the bang/thud sound when it's down? i'm on bags and mine doesn't do it
Don't you bottom out?
- Yes I do
Its the strut bottoming out against itself. I have not idea what they are, only that they came off a jetta. It could go lower, but Id still like to be able to move if I spring a leak.
Car still has about 2-3" ground clearance all the way down.
Selling a brand new AZ compressor and 5gal aluminum tank if you're interested.
you are using air cylinders in the rear right?
the shafts are way to long.
you need to go 4 inches shorter than what you have

My buddy who helped me set it up, mentioned something that could be cut to drop it some more. I need to get a compressor going and fix a few slow leaks before I want this to lay out, my coworker lost all his air in his mini truck and laid frame going down the highway. Got stuck in a turn lane. I do still want mine to drive if all my air decides to dump.
Damn dude, when thats all the way down its still higher than my rear at ride height...that sucks...why would rather have more lift than drop?
