How long does a typical quality lowering spring last? I have B&G lowering springs that have over 120k miles on them, and sportlines that have about 25k miles on them. Besides excessive sagging, are there any other symptoms of a worn-out trashed spring? I'd like to keep the B&G's and get rid of the Eibachs, but I'd feel kind of stupid keeping the older part.
FYI my registry is up to date on suspension mods. The goal is to balance cornering ability with ride quality for a daily driver. Currently its on the eibachs and koni reds - the ride is kind of harsh even after adjusing the koni's a little softer. My thought is that the extra drop of the sportlines takes away too much travel to get the balance I'm looking for. I had the B&G's for a long time and they were never quite as harsh even with the koni's on full hard.
Anyway, thanks for suggestions and let me know if im thinking of this the wrong way.
different springs have different spring rates

I realize this - that is why I would like to go back to the B&G's.
The question is how long do springs usually last and what are some symptoms of a worn-out spring.
Most factory springs have a recommended replacement of about 75-80k miles. I've never actually seen an aftermarket spring with a lifetime rating.
Sag is the biggest symptom. Of course, if its broken, its bad too. There really isn't a way to check a spring without using a spring dyno. But its cheaper to just buy a new set than find someone who has one and pay them to do it. I know there are portable models out there for small diameter (2-2.5" springs), but I've only ever seen floor mount ones for larger springs.

Thank you, that is the kind of info I needed. The springs are not physically broken but they have almost double the milage of the recommended factory replacement schedule you listed, so its probably just best to try to tune on the newer eibachs and scrap the B&Gs
eibach have a 1,000,000 mile warranty. but im not positive that sagging is a warranty claim. broken yes
