Brake master cylinder
Thursday, October 10, 2013 7:47 PM
I am currently upgrading my brake system. I am converting from manual brakes to power assist brakes. The system is used but from a newer Jeep. Looking from the from front to the back where the master cylinder connects to the booster, brake lines from the old system connect on the right or facing the fender. The new system has lines connecting on the left or facing the engine. Would it be possible to find a replacement brake master cylinder with the line connect on the left. The master cylinder if from a 94 YJ it is an Aluminum master cylinder with numbers 2220331 € 47 Bendix and 2148B.
I tried several 94 YJ replacements but all models have the hydraulic lines connecting on the left. The real problem will be finding a replacement that bolts to the booster.

Thanks!!!
PS. If worse turns to worse I will just replace the lines.

It looks like you're talking about Jeeps. This forum is for GM J bodies (Cavaliers, Sunbirds, etc).
