Has anyone used the SSBC rear discs with stock 16" rims? I thought I remembered someone doing this, but their site lists a 17" necessary. I am just trying to decide between this kit and the Baer kit since that will work with stock rims.

I tried, but the only way to get the wheel to clear the caliper is to push it away from the hub with a spacer & even then there is around 1/4" clearance. Works well enough for winter though as you can see in the pic.
