OEM springs cavy/fire

so i wont to get the oem springs and put them back on my car. so i can put my drift kit on. i wanted to know is the springs the same on the fire and cavy. also do i need a spring compressor to get them off of the strut? i know i will need it to get them back on the strut. i just dont want to waste time since im going to get them from the junk yard today before i go to school.

The springs should be the same, but why raise it up just to put the kit on? My blitz front w/ my coil overs sits about 2" from the ground, looks awesome but I just drive careful!

because with my side skirts on its only an inch off the ground. i would love to keep my car lower i love the look but i would rather have this drift kit on rather then my razzi kit. that is all tore up

get a good suspension set up and your car will be fine. imo it will looked retarded at stock height

Yes, they're the same. You do not really need compressors to remove them. I just wrap the thing in a towel, and keep my foot on it while loosening the top bolt. It doesn't pop off too powerfully, like some cars' do.
You might consider some coilovers, so you can still get the lowered look, but not let it be so low as to put your skirts at a dangerous height. You'll have full control as to the height you're at.
