hey guys i have a 98 2.4 sunfire gt, anyone have problems with the speedo needle going back and forth at all speeds while driving . if so what cant be the fix for it .anyyhelp would be appreciated thanx .

either a speed sensor or the cluster itself.....

i guess i will pull out the switch sometime this week and see if its bad i guess it cant be that expensive eh , i may just replace it .im still not sure if its the one at the bottom of the tranny or the one on top .i will find out when i get the new one i guess ,thanx guys

its in the bottom of the trans and they are expensive. it cost 115 for the sensor i think. also if its covered in metal shavings then start saving for a new trans

thanx for all your help . it was the sensor it was full of shavings so i changed my oil and cleaned the sensor worx good now . thanx again.

start saving cuz i bet in a month or so your trans goes
its only synchros i can change those when i do my clutch no big deal . im aint worried , but thanx again . till next time .
