ok I have a 97 cavalier and I want to put some white face gauges on it, the only problem is that I don't know exactly how to get to them, I didn't want to break anything doing it can someone help?

i have never done it but if u take out the dash pad should be pretty simple to firgure out

ok, the site on ebay has instructions too, and it sats not to move, push, or pull the gauge needles, so how the hell am I supposed to get the white face sheet on?

I just don't get how it's going on if I can't tough the gauges...are there places that will install it for me cheap...cuz if I break something I'm screwed, but if I take it to someone and they break it they'll have to fix it.

lol I had that same problem a while back you have to remove the needles.

I've done it plenty of times, removing the needles.

Here's what to do:

1) take a good clear picture of your cluster with the car running, right before you take the cluster out of the car, this way you'll know where the needles were.

2) open the cluster, GENTLY remove the needles, using even, staight pressure (make sure you don't pull to one side or the other)

3) put the white face on (I removed my factory face, but some don't)

3) with the lens and needles still off the cluster, set the cluster in the car (don't bother bolting it down yet), plug it in, and turn the car on

4) GENTLY put the needles on the way they are in the picture you took in step 1 (very important: if the car was warmed up when you took the picture, make sure the car is warmed up when you do this step!)

5) take it for a spin, and make sure your tach & speedo move freely and don't stick.

6) put it all back together
