I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this? I'm thinking of painting it black on my blue car, and was wondering if anyone else could provide pics so I can see what it looks like...

There are tons of pics, in exterior, and p&m of people who have done this.....go search in those, and you will find what you are looking for.

Here are the results on my Sunfire, using rattle can paint from Paintscratch.com. Tip: to prevent the common "logo ghosting" problem, wet sand down the model logo on the panel and then cover it with 3-4 coats of flat black paint before the primer, color coat and clear coat go over it. The sanding and black paint layer will guarantee that the logo doesn't show up in the new finish and that the light from the license plate bulbs don't show through it.
