First heres some pics so at least you guys know I've been busy
You guys are prolly wondering why I tore it apart... well I'm putting in a cam from the 60degreev6 store, with 530 lift, so I've also got a new set of comp springs on the way, and retainers. Heads just finished getting dipped and cleaned up and I'm going to port them before I put everything back together.
Anyways, here's my Q. This is my air intake tube
That spot in the top of the tube to the left, what sensor is supposed to go there? The one beside it is the IAT, but wth goes there?
Thanks guys!
Alex
There will always be someone faster than you, but thousands slower and dumber than you.
isn't that where a plastic tube goes??
been a while--
Well, if that's for PCV, then WTF is the hole behind the TB for?

Thats for the tube that runs from the pcv valve to the evap solenoid.
Thanks guys! I got my motor from a wrecker so it makes it more difficult to figure out what belongs where sometimes!

there is no pcv in that tube, it goes to the hole on the back valve cover, its a breather.
the pcv valve goes in the front valve cover and the vac for that goes to the top of the throttle body.

Hmm, I thought it was for the PCV. I never had a hose for that, so I've got an Isuzu trans dipstick stuck in there to plug the hole.
^^^ Yea so it looks just like mine lol
