hey guys i blew my head gasket on my 2.4 how do i go about changing this? is it easy to do it in the car or do i have to take the motor out? any help is very appreciated ....thanks
if your not familiar with the car it will probably be a whole weekend task. not difficult but its not like changing brakes. grab some sockets, torque wrench, haynes manual and some beer and go at it.
we put this motor in not to long ago im very familier with the motor just didn't know what'd be easier
It's a chore with an LD9, but anyone with mechanical expierence can swap head gaskets. But BEWARE!!!!! If you just replace the gasket without checking the surface of the head, it'll never seal.
