Zex NMU problem
Saturday, August 26, 2006 1:47 PM
I was checking all my systems on my car today and when I was testing the nitrous system, specifically the TPS in regards to the MNU, I dicovered that something is wrong. I hear either nothing when I depress the gas pedal to the floor (no solenoid click) or rapid clicking...sometimes I don't even touch the gas pedal and it start firing( click, click, click, etc.)...and other times it works fine. I am guessing my solenoid is pooched...any thoughts. If this is it can it be fixed or should I buy a new one or worse yet do I need a new NMU? Advice appreciated.

it could be your connection to the tps wire. you might want to double check that

That was it alright. The splice connector was loose. Simply clamped it down tighter and rewrapped it...single click every time the pedal hits the floor. Easy and quick fix. Thanks lemur.

Same thing happened to me about 4 months ago.

11 bottles of nitrous and still counting on stock internals!
Dry 85 shot, and still going up...
