Timing on Eco?

So I have a ? I have had Nitrous on my car two different times now and am going to do it again this summer. My ? is I have never retarded the timing on the car but was told that doing so would be a good idea for safety reasons. I would probably be running around 85 shot on Dry kit Zex. Also I was going to put Stage one Comp Cams in this time to so I don't know how much of a difference that will make. What does it take to adjust the timing?

the 85 shot dry is probably a bad idea. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable going over 75 with the zex kit, but 50 is probably more in the safe zone. If you were wet or dp then 85 would be fine. You can adjust the timing with an msd ignition(this would end up costing more then the second option and lack a lot of features) or get HPtuners and be able to do all kinds of stuff.
