nos in a rc car
Thursday, May 06, 2010 8:56 AM
hey peoplz,

i have a rc car that runs on nitromethane and i want to make nitrous oxide for it.
i am going to use 16g bottles for moped nos kits.
now, my idea is to use an adjustable pressure regulator and a solenoid valve.
but i don't know much about these things.
what do i need to know about these things? and which ones do i need? the car i use has a battery of 5 cells so 6 volts
also: what is the pressure in a 16g cartridge? and how can i connect that to something? it can't be screwed onto something because it has no screwing wire.
(yeah i'm from holland my english can be poor sometimes)

thanks!

If search around they make kits. I forget where I saw them though.

yeah i saw them, RBinnovations has one too but i want to make one myself because of the price and because i think i can make a better one with pressure regulator.
i'm thinking about using a regulator for airbrush. or would'nt that work?

NOS in a company, not a gas. Nitrous Oxide is the gas(Nitrous or N2O for short). Calling Nitrous "nos" makes you look like a ricer wannabe.

I agree with Tinkles. The whole noss thing started because the idiots from Fast and Furious didn't realize it was an abreviation and not a word.
