hey guys whats going on. ive gotta question i love the jl audio 13.5 w7 but price is kinda steep so ive been thinkin about getting the orion h2 12 can anyone tell me honestly is there any compairing these 2 subs ? and what amp should i use to power these subs and how many. im good at putting systems in but i want a ground pounding system please help

Orion h2 will get louder if you give it what it likes, which is about 2500 watts RMS. A orion 2200d is the perfect candidate for this sub. Personally the w7 will spank the h2 in SQ, but if you want loud the orion will satisfy your craving if you give it enough power.

I'd go Diamond TDX or ever a RE XXX if your looking to save some cash

buy the Orion from a dealer, and have them install it, that way you can have it covered under warrenty after you smoke it.

i wouldn't go for the orion..they are @!#$ty subs. they are VERY picky with the enclosure...and not to effecient either. not to mention the quality just isn't there.

not really true about quality, orion's h2 are very well built subs. You are correct on the pickyness of enclosures. Build what the site has listed or you shall be sad. Also strange in the fact it gets louder in sealed enclosures
