Install head unit in the vents? how u do it?
Saturday, May 14, 2005 11:17 PM
I'm trying to run my sony 7inch tv and my pioneer radio, into a 96 cavy. I'm putting my pioneer head unit into the main spot its suppose to be put in and i wanna put my sony where my vents are just above my ac/heat controls. I've seen cars do this from pics on cardomain. I wanna know how do u actually do it. I know u have to cut the vents the make the heat/air travel but, how do u keep the heat/ac from hiting the head unit. In the winter/ heat, will the ac/ heat kill my indash tv from it hitting cause its in the vent. What do/ how do I do this and what makes the head unit hold up while in the vents. Please help!
