I have a 2000 Cavalier and was wondering if you could tell me the better mounting bracket for my new head unit the Pioneer DEH-P7800MP (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069880_291147601,00.html)

The Metra 99-3301(http://www.audiooutfitter.com/store/99-3301.html) or the Scosche GM1583(http://www.scosche.com/scosche/installation/kits/GM1583.asp. Obviously, I want it to fit as flush, and look as stock as possible. I just can't figure out if the opening of the metra is two small for the deck. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Either one should work just fine. I have a similar pioneer deck and am using the Metra kit. Works and looks great.

the one i have mounts the deck in behind the trim so the deck is flush on the outside i think i got that from walmart

i like and have the metra.

I have tried both, the metra requires the deck to be screwed to the unit. The Scosche one uses the cage that comes with the deck. I personally liked the metra one better!

does anyone know of a good one for the 95-99 cavy with a pocket. ive tried and tried to find one without any luck..... im getting desprate. could i modifie the 00 and up one. thanks and sorry to thread jack
