Ok some dude turned my girlfriends amp's settings ALL the way up the other day just @!#$in around without her knowing...yea hes a dousche..but whatever.
She has 2 10" Kicker Comp's with a Kicker ZX250.2 in a sealed box, not sure on the specifications on the box.
Is there anyway anyone can help me set the gains, ect on the amp soon before it does any damage to the subs...? I did turn them down some but I don't know where exactly to set them.
Theres a sticky at the top of the page by lanman...simple

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL
Thing is, I have no way to get ahold of a multimeter, just wondering if there was a general "setting" these things should be put on...I know theres 3 dials on the amp but im honestly not to smart electronically so im fighting chuck norris with a blindfold on here.
No way? they're like 10 bucks at any hardware store :S

then you need to set it by ear.
Turn all your dials to the lowest position, or off.
turn your volume up to about 3/4 of the way (or however high you listen to it)
then slowly turn the gain up until you hear it start to sound distorted or muddy sounding. Then turn the dial back a tad from there.

Fifteen dollars at Home Depot for an analog meter. Or, you can go to your local box store (CC,BB) and have their car audio guys tune it. They might do it for free, they might charge you.
