ok i have a 300rms amp, and a 60x4 rms amp

can i run my 4 gauge from the battery to my distro block and then run 8 gauge from that to the amp? or is that not enough

8 guage will work fine

how many rms watts can i have before i have to change to all 4 gauge wire ?

Overkill now to 4 gauge, instead of buying 8 gauge, and then having to pull the 8 gauge, and then buying 4 gauge.

I would have to agree with thoughthardtocomeupwiththis, plan ahead when wirirng. You might pay more now, but it will be worth it.
