12 volt Rope light

Would this be safe to use under my car?

I saw the Group purchase for the underbody rope light and they want $170 for a kit. I found this site and they're offering twice the rope for half the price.

Basically, i was just wondering if this was the same stuff that's being sold in the GP. I like the idea of using the rope light because it can flow right into the wheel well.

Where are you going to stick 150 feet of wire?

I've got two cars that i want to put this stuff under and then depending on how much is left, i'll probably give it away.

All i need to know is if this stuff with short out or break when it's under a car. From the description of it, I would say it would be fine but I would like some reassurance. Anyone's help is appreciated
