Anyone remember what the site was that took over the audio & electronics forums from Car Sound and Performance? I remember getting solicited to join last year in private messages, but can't remember what the new site was.
It wasn't 12volt.com, it was something else.

No, some new site was created and everyone who was an installer left to go there, which is why carsound is dead now. I joined but lost the site when I restored my computer the last time.

but you need to work in the industry, and they call your employer to verify you work for a shop/ manufacturer.
So dont any of you other guys try joining.

Yeah they tried to make me re-register since my account was inactive for so long. They want to recontact my employer, know my underwear size, and what the maiden name of my great-great-grandmother was....or something. Just to browse around on an afternoon it isn't worth the hassle again.
