attached is a picture of what my cd player is doing, it wont eject but it plays the cd that is in there. should i just go get a new cd player

Put your foot through said cd player, Or sell it to the local mexican family, Proceed to purchase new one. Problem solved.

i think its the eject motor because when i push eject it says check cd and makes some odd noise

Itll probably be cheaper to just get a new one from a wrecking yard rather than getting it fixed.

Grab a sacrificial CD and try working the old one out by wiggling the sac.CD in the slot while pressing eject.
