Hooking up amp into a 02 cavalier

Okay so I got the power wire and fuse hooked up, but when I went to hook the RCA and remote wire to the deck, the person that was helping me said there is no place in the back for the wires to come out to bring to the trunk. He said I would have to take my dash off and take the part under the steering wheel off to get the RCA and remote wires out from the deck.
Do I have to do this or is there a spot for the wires to exit.
I suck at wording stuff but if you understand can you please help me.

find a new friend to help you.

you can go pretty much right off to the side of the headunit, down behind that plastic trim piece in front of the center console and belowe the dash and then right into the carpet.

What jason said.... Lemme guess, that same friend also ran your power wire through the fender and door frame?

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

we ran the power wire through a grommet by the brake pedal, and ran the RCA and remote on the passenger side. It was easier at night cause I just put my flashlight in that gap by the glove box and could see where to run the wires.
Thanks everyone.
