Wiring Harness

Hi guys, I have a 1997 sunfire 2.2l manual transmission, that I would like to swap over a 1999 2.2l automatic transmission motor. From what I understand this swap should work as the transmissions from 1997-1999 did not change in the 2.2L, I will however have to swap the flywheel and clutch over to the the motor. So here is my question I have the full wiring harness that goes with the 1999 motor that will be going in and all the components of that wiring system, however I would think that the wiring will be a bit off from its new use as it came out of an automatic car and is going to be used in a manual transmission car. Is there a way to make this wiring work? I would think that the only major issue would be the brake switch and clutch pedal wiring? All the help you can provide will be much appreciated.

Dash wiring is part of the dash harness. There's a big connector (C100 in GM lingo) under the air box in the engine bay. You disconnect it there and swap the other engine bay harness in. You'll probably have to bypass the auto trans switch so it will start, but that should be about it. Maybe have to move the VSS and reverse light switch wiring... but at least you have a template of what works in your manual harness already. Just slice and dice... or slice and splice, I suppose.

I know the LN2 2.2L motor changed for the 98 model year.. you might need some other stuff aside from the wiring harness... but I'm not an expert on the 2.2L's, as I've never actually owned one.
