Wiring oil pressure gauge light to dimmer

Hi. I think this is the right forum for this. I just added an aftermarket oil pressure gauge to my 96 Cavalier 2.2 OHV. Its just got a 2 wire bulb (red/black). The so-called instructions just tell me to hook it up to the dimmer. The dimmer has 4 wires going to it. They are black, yellow, green, and the last one is either tan or white.

Would I just run the black to black & the red one to ???? (one of the other 3)

I figured for you guys on here this is like the $100 question on Who wants to be a millionaire, so I would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Use a volt meter and find the wire that gets hot when you turn your lights on.
