playing CD-RW on stock deck

Hey,
I got a RDS deck in my 2001 Cavalier, from what I heard it can play CDRW. I have tried burning a normal audio cd with a CDRW but it doesn't want to work, no matter what I do, Disc at Once, Track at once. The cd is brand new so its got no scratches. When I put it in it says Check Disc. Is there a way to make it work?

Have you tried a regular CD-R? It's possible that the CD-RW you are using isn't being completely "finalized" by however you're burning it. It's the only thing I can think of.

I have played the CD-R and it works fine. I'm using NERO express to burn my cds.

I'd say for some reason, NERO isn't finalizing the CD-RW properly (this is going to sound dumb, but you are using CD-RW and no CD+RW, right?). Have you tried to burn a CD-RW using Windows Media Player?
