Hi whats up everyone, wondering if anyone knows what the part # is for the rear 6x9 speakers for the up level sound system for an 01 cavalier.

I believe the 6-speaker ones are 16257971. About $20 from the dealer. You'll need the factory amp too.. not a clue on that one.

I have a 01 z and I didnt know the 01 z's had a factory amp
ive already got the factory amp. just need replacement speakers, i lost one a nd when moving a screwdrive went through the other but i cant read teh part# on the speaker i have it was banged around in a box and it came off

has anyone ever wired up afteermarket speakers to the factory deck with the factory amp. the whole 4 wire thing just didnt work out for me, and when i did get an aftermarket speaker to work the factory one had a a lot louder bass,

Billions of people have wired up aftermarket speakers to a stock deck. It works fine.

if its got the premium (it does if its a z24) easiest way is to run wire to the deck for the rears. with that part number, at gmpartsdirect.com they are only $9.00 a piece.

ya it has the premium sound system, which is cool to mount speakers in the front w/no prob, but the rear is a pain in the arse, cuz o the 4 wires. ya i checekd that out thats cheap as hell, i am proally gonna go back to the stock system, its really all i need, i like my trunk space, i havent had any since i got the car, cuz o the nitrous and system, sooo most likely gonna either get a small 4 channel amp and hook that up to the factory deck, orr just go all factory again,
