I am just wondering on how one would go about wiring two amps up to a) the battery - Use a fused distribution block. You can get them at www.darvex.com. There's many different types. b) the headunit --- go up to radio shack, they have RCA Y splitters for a couple bucks. As for the remote, just run another wire from the one amp's remote to the other amp. If you do a third device on the remote lead, use a relay.

Beat it like it owes you money

if you can avoid the y-splitter, do. Most amps have full range rca outputs to facilitate multiple amps in a "daisy chain" setup.

A) Use a distribution block. Run your power wire from the battery to where the amps are, then a distribution block (preferably fused) to split that to the two amps.

B) Two choices, depending on the amp. As ^^^ said, a lot of amps these days are coming with RCA IN/RCA OUT connections, so you can daisy chain the two together. Otherwise, you'd have to use RCA Y-cables to split that signal. Can be done, but not the best way to do it. Are both amps going to be used for the same thing? Like, one amp to one sub, and the other amp to another sub? Or is one going to be used for like, full range speakers?

The remote wire can just be spliced.
