mount it wherever it sounds best to you...use some duct tape or something to hold it in place temporarily, take it for a light drive, and crank it. then move it, and repeat. stick with what you like best, then mount it.

ive seen alot of them in the back corner of trunks

I had mine in the back corner. I felt it sounded the best there. Its a nice little punch, enjoy it!
