I have a panasonic 8100 cdplayer and when i go past 20 on the volume level the amp that i have powering my speakers in my car it like goes from a green light to a red light.. and the speakers POP like... not enough power or something.. Any ideas?
It's a protection light. If the speakers are popping, the amp may be sensing distortion, and turning itself off to try to save your speakers. Try turning the gain on your amp down, and see if it changes how high you can go.
