Suggestions on PS2 instillation (shock/vib buffer)

I know PS2's are EVRY tempermental toward vibration when playing DVDs & Games. Since im going to toss my Old PS2 into my cavy temp untill i get a newer slimmer one. Is there any reccomdations on how to install it and secure it w/o caustiong alot of vibration while driving from the car being lowered sitting on 40 series tires as well as the motor mounts cause some vibration. I was thinking of encasing it somehow with a hard rubber, then use a softer rubber to absorb the vibration before it sends through to the PS2. Has anyone devised such a thing as of yet? mayeb have any ideas? I have a pretty firm Idea of what i want.. but just wondering if someone's trugded into this terratory before of shock resistance on a PS2 install.

Well if you block them vents, you will fry your ps2. and why have it on while driving anyway?

ROFL @ all of this. Well mostly b/c i travel to club meets in Washington or Portland, OR.. portlands 3 hours away and seattles 6-7 hours. I genrally have a passenger.. so if they wanted to play or if they wanted to watch a movie, on the way. they could. So no one's had any probs w/ vibration form it being lowered or motor mounts .. well if any one has driven.

Jason.. always better to call her your wife not a passenger.. no play = bad nights & days. LOL

And mike's right.. I have a convertable.. so People are more apt to want to ride WITH me when it's warm, I only have 2 front buckets.. but yeah. I always have a passenger it seems. I just want to make sure that it's nto gonna fugg anything up .. or prevent laser damage form vibration .. just thinking ahead.

perfect fit with the power invertor wedged in above it, it doesn't move.... my car is slammed on 18's driving through down town chicago higways and it has never skipped... Also keep in the mid the slim PS2 is top loading so it ended up taking up just as much space

if you want a 7.2" LCD screen like mine Joe... get ahole of Jason @ A+Performance. I got mine for $137 shipped.. but then the next day i found it at another site for $109 and Jason joined that site as a wholesale distributor. So it might come up cheaper than mine
Pyramid MV72TFT 7.2" LCD widescreen moniter
