hey ya all. i got a 95 2.2l cavalier. im turboing it. running low boost. about 5-7lbs max with t25 (at least thats what i think it is) for now. im not upgrading anything fuel delivery wise really so... do i still need a fuel management system of some kind?.... or is that an optional thing that would just be nice to have? i understand that maybe some people just wouldn't do it and this and that, and wouldnt go turbo without upgrading injectors and all that. so all that a side... do i absolutely need it for this amount of boost. as most of ya know, its kinda hard to upgrade the fuel system on this motor so. lol. thanks for any help. any further helpful info would be nice.
tried searching.... couldn't find what i was lookin for...
and also, anybody here at 200hp with the 2.2l with low boost? if so, about how much boost are you using and with what turbo? thanks
you need to up the fuel..being a 95 youll have issues ith the injectors..prlly have to look into a top feed conversion..phil
Not unless you like a ticking time bomb. Too lean and boom!
When in doupt, grub.
YES. You NEED to upgrade your fuel system.
i know about the top feed conversion, is there any other alternatives to that though?

.............yes there is. Research secondary injectors, alot have used them and as far as I'm concerned its absolutly the EASIEST way to tune a boosted car. I personally use them on a 98 with a 2200 and can't say enough how much I recommend them. I use the 034efi system with two 40lb injectors and two steel bungs welded in my charge pipe right before the throttle body. If you have any questions let me know.
I wanna watch it go kaboom
