what would be better for the eco.....in ur opinion wait for the gm charger or go with the hahn turbo setup....i dont know what to do i know there has been the whole debate of supercharger vs turbo and which was better....i dont want to be able to run ridiculously low times but i want to be decently quick and boosted....just lookin for whats gonna be better for the motor and most reliable
Well if you wait for the GM charger youll likely have sold the car and moved on by the time it comes out. So if you want boost now, then buy whats available now.
As far as some kind of decent warranty and goos reliability the of course the GM S/C will be great, it will most likely be a bolt on version of the the setup used on the Cobalt SS S/C.

I currently own 3 different Hahn equipped vehicles, all have been very reliable.
Had an 03 cav that went 12.97 @ 104 and was a pleasure to drive.
You won't regret buying the Hahn kit. We are building a Cobalt SS
that will be supercharged and turbocharged shootin' for 11.90s.
I went with the RSM charger, i mean yea if you want to go REALLY fast eventually, then get the turbo... but for a good solid 14 second car (if you will be happy with 14 seconds) and less worries i'd say S/C. Plus less install headaches.
I dunno, at one point i would have never supercharged my car, but now it just seems way more practical. I dont need more than 200 hp, although i know that train of thought wont last for long after i get the kit on there.

no comparison the gm charger will be weak if it ever does happen

1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
12 psi on a 2.0 motor dynoing at the wheels with more than its rated HP is weak ?????
i must be missing something , other than the fact you will have to buy the stuff for the rest of the intercooler for the GM s/c
and running mid 14's on a 300 pound heavier car
the hahn kit is a nice kit my friends dyno'd at close to 210 hp @ 9-10 psi and was richer than rich
i think are good options , just depends on what you want
