hey does anyone know about the getrag 284 tranny? My buddy is possibly getting another soon so maybe I can find out if it will fit myself if nobody else knows.

Like I said its rare to find, but the axels and everthing inside that tranny look different and stronger than ours, by a LONG shot too. any info? <br>

didnt those come in the Z34 lumina's in the early 90's? i have heard stuff about them from fiero guys. anyway yes i think they are even stronger than the HM282 but they cost a huge amount of money to service and rebuild. might not be worth it over the HM282 or better yet the NVG-T550. <br>
