Why the heck would you buy a brand new car, and then change the transmission out? You should have just bought a manual one.

Is he going to help you with your punctuation?

Learn to use periods and commas.

Because it makes it much easier to read and understand. People are more willing to help if the post is easy to read, puncuation and spelling helps that.

So your uncle is a certified GM technician, he knows how to do it..Wouldnt he know what parts are involved as well..

I hate to say it, but I will...If you would've searched, or scrolled through a few pages you'd see this question being asked constantly.

Some of the parts you'll need are:

5spd Getrag tranny
clutch pedal assembly
Shifter+linkage
Shirt center console
Tranny mounts
Tranny brackets to be welded on to the frame

Oh and the ECM will need to be re-flashed....I personally just replaced it with a 5spd

Like I said I just swapped my 3spd for a 5spd..It was a lot of work..I still need to do some fine tunning...
