I thought I saw some one say awhile back the the 2.8L 5 speed tranny would bolt up to the 2.4 5 speed bellhousing. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not. Or if a 2.8L 5 speed bellhousing would bolt up to a 2.4 block?

the 2.4 and the 2.8 have completly different patterns for the bellhousing
also the starter locations are different
