stage 2+ or 3?
Sunday, August 27, 2006 11:54 PM
Very early next year im doing an ecotec swap, and while im doing it im going to throw in a new clutch and lighter flywheel. My question is would a stage 2+ clutch be able to handle 275whp or should I go with the stage 3? The obvious answer would be the 3, but i wont be going turbo until mid-late next year and it will be my daily driver until I get the t/c and a beater, and driving a lot on a stage 3 clutch is a pain the ass imho.

Or should I just install a stage 3 clutch when I do the t/c?

3+. Holding power of a 5 with the feel of a 3 on the street. Thing is LIGHT (pedal wise) for the street, has a SLIGHTLY harsh engagement sometimes but it grabs like hell when you go with the power. I can pull consistent 1.8 and 1.9 second 60s with the 3+, TG LSD, and BFG DRs.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.
