Install is fairly easy.. If u have a eco its easier cuz u can splice into the harness wires up on the firewall instead of down at the plug. I love mine but i just drive with it off.. but when on it really pulls hard into shifts i love it. I heard u cant turn it off on the fly but mine i can? i can turn it off without having to restart the car and i read somewhere u cant do that.. but i love it.

I tried doing this today by the firewall but I'll be honest with you... It's a pain in the ass because there are 2 identical light-blue/white-striped wires, and 2 identical red/black-striped wires there and it's hard to tell which ones are the right ones. I gave it a shot and tried using the connectors that came with the kit just to test it out to see if I had the right wires
(I'm soldering them soon as I know I have the right ones), but I really didn't notice much of a difference, even when I set it to 2. It seemed maybe slightly different but not really noticible, so I disconnected the Shift+ wires when I got back home from testing it out, and I think I'm just gonna do it up by the PCM plug instead tommorrow this way I can see which of the wires are the correct ones of the pairs using the repair manual. I tightly taped up the areas I striped and siliconed them before pushing them back into the lume. I kinda wanted to do it by the firewall just because it was cleaner looking being hidden more. At least I have the B&M wire routed already and the switch mounted under the dash so all I have to do is find out which wires are the right ones and solder everything up.

if u take a multimeter u can run a continuety(sp) test on teh wires at the plug up to the wires to the firewall and most will beep when u have the right wire.. just test the wires in the harness till u get the right one
also u wont notice a huge difference in like a cruise other then the shifting is a lil rougher.. but u prolly got a wire or both wrong..

thanks aaron i got it today..... i cant wait till its installed

Just got it soldered up today. I did it up by the plug since it was easier to figure out the right wires that way. It's hidden in the lume. You can't even tell it's there. And I have to agree with everyone now... It's definitely noticeble... especially on level 2. Although I will be staying on level 1 for daily driving just to be on the safe side. Level 2 is harsh, lol.

i installed it today.... thnx aaron once again for sendin me a quality product on time... I love the way it shifts on setting 1, setting too seems a little harsh but ill also leave that for the track. EVery auto should get this...

i loved it in my old car....i did run into a problem with it after about a yr tho...i ALWAYS kept it on because its kinda addicting and when i went to sell the car i took it out ,so i could sell it to a friend, and the car still shifted hard...even with it out...i tryed dissconnecting the battery and all that stuff but for some reason no matter what i did it seemed like it was stuck in the performance setting on the shiftplus...has that happened to anyone else?

I'm pretty sure I read another post by someone saying they had the same problem when I was researching the Shift+ on here before I bought it.
