I have a 96 z24 w/ an isuzu tranny, Will a Getrag tranny from an 02 z24 bolt up to it with minimal mods or no mods at all?
It'll bolt up fine, but the mounts to the frame rail are different between the Getrag and the Isuzu.
does anyone make high performance tranny mounts. I am trying to get about 300whp out of the car and i need a tranny that can hold it, from what i understand the Getrag is stronger than the isuzu, does it really make a difference.
