ok I have posted here tones of times and never get a responds at all. Hopefully I can get some help this time

Ok I just installed a new clutch master cylinder and everything went good or I thought. I got about 3 or 4 stop lights from my house and the pushrod that contects the master cylinder to the clutch pedal comes off , so I contect it back and it does the same thing. What is suppose to hold the pushrod onto the clutch pedal? I dont remember doing anything but pulling the old one off. PLEASE HELP!!!

There is a C clip like thing. GO to the junk yard, or you might find one at the parts store help section.
