Hi all,

I'm hoping the J body experts here can shed some light on my transmission problem. 95 Cavalier auto, 135K miles, my daughters car so I don't drive it much. Anyway, the trans was working fine - no noticeable slippage or shifting issues - then it suddenly stopped working completely. Put it in any gear and no movement forward or reverse. You can faintly detect it engaging (slight blip on the tach). I've dropped the pan and see nothing obvious, fluid seems OK. I don't know when the filter was last changed since she's has the car for only a year. Checked the TV cable and it seems to be OK.

I'm running out of ideas.

Can anyone shed some light on this??
